• Treetops Resort is hosting a spectacular culinary experience. The Skiable Feast gourmet winter adventure takes you on a 6 kilometer (3.8 mile) cross-country ski excursion. • Otsego Resort is opening strong. The new owners are showing Gaylord they have what it takes to entertain this town. The resort’s Saturday, Jan. 26 Wild Game Dinner is sure to be one for the ages. • Gaylord’s 8th annual Alpenfrost is closing out its festivities with the 2019 Michigan Beer & Wine Festival at Treetops Resort’s Convention Center from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. Spend the evening mingling and tasting an array of Michigan craft beer and wine. Many popular Great Lakes State breweries and wineries have their hat in this ring. Learn about beer and wine making, tasting notes and the operations of local beer and winemakers. • If you are looking to enjoy Gaylord with no reservations, The Keg Bar in Waters is open right off of Trail 7in Waters. The atmosphere is warm the staff is friendly, and the food is down to Earth. It is a perfect place to rest after a day snowmobiling the trails. Porter HausBennethum’s Northern InnPine Squirreland the new Belle Iron Grille are two stellar places to eat right off the snowmobile trail. We suggest getting small plates and cocktails at each. Yum.
